Understanding the facts about mental health and mental illness is a great way to combat stigma. Shedding light on the realities of mental health and mental illness can help break stereotypes and make people feel more comfortable seeking support.

Here are some resources you can use to educate yourself. This list is just a starting place, but if you’re going to do some research on your own, make sure the facts you’re reading come from a reputable source and meet the STOP criteria!
